ATC365 #365 THE END ??

So, here we are!

#365 in the series of ATCs.

OK, so some days I missed the deadline.

Once or twice I published a series to enable me to have some 'time off'

BUT

I did it!!!

365 ATCs, one for every day of the year 2015.

It hasn't been the greatest of years.

I hope that 2016 is kinder to me.

Here it is then, my last ATC.

So, is it the end?

I think for the ATC365 project it is.

Is it the end of my artistic challenges?

Oh no!

I have yet to think of a suitable project but there will be one.

Watch this space......

ATC365 #363 STARS

A pretty little piece of card that has been knocking around in my scrap box for a few years now.

Finally found a use for it.

Dylusions inks, starry stencil and a nearly run out white pen.

ATC365 #353 COLLY BIRDS and #354 FRENCH HENS

The French hens have always been just that - French hens.

The Colly birds have been many different things!

Angus in 1774 wrote that they were COLLY birds

Through the years they have been

CANARY

COLOUR'D

CURLEY

CORLEY

and most recently in 1909 Austin called them CALLING birds.

We seem to have reverted to COLLY again in 1966

Marvellous Monday with VISIBLE IMAGE

WOW! Didn't they do well?

Congratulations to Mark, Helen and Pauline for a truly fab show on Create & Craft TV!

The observant amongst you will recognise this card as it featured on the show.

I didn't have the eye stamp in my collection until quite recently but I seem to have used it quite a lot since it arrived on my doormat.

I started off with the usual large piece of card which I coloured with red and orange Brusho paint.

When this was dry I stamped the eye and the sentiment onto torn pieces of the card and used jet black embossing powder.

I used bleach to whiten the eye and also to highlight the sentiment.

I used the splats from the corner of the eye around the edges of the card but only used black ink, no embossing this time.

I stuck the pieces onto the card base and then using a pricking wheel I went round the edges to look like stitching. A couple of brads just for the heck of it and job done.

And 'YES' I did make them all at once.

Even I need to get lots done this time of year.

ATC365 #344 MYRRH

Myrrh /ˈmɜr/ from the Hebrew '"מור"' ("mor") and Arabic مر (mur) is the aromatic resin of a number of small, thorny tree species of the genus Commiphora, which is an essential oil termed an oleoresin. Myrrhresin is a natural gum. It has been used throughout history as a perfume, incense and medicine.

Marvellous Monday with VISIBLE IMAGE

The guys at Visible Image are having a really busy time right now!

On 12th December they have their first TV show for a few years coming up and they have been incredibly busy getting ready for that.

They also decided to take part in the Black Friday sale thing which was a huge success sales wise but unfortunately their web site let them down and now they are trying to catch up with all the extra work that involves. Times like this I wish I could actually help them out.

Helen and Mark are the most hard working and conscientious people I have met in a long time. We sometimes forget that some businesses are run by a family unit with other commitments outside of the office. They need your understanding when it comes things beyond their control.

They design, make, hand cut, and package, all their stamps. No automated machinery doing all the hard work here!

It is this personal touch that makes VISIBLE IMAGE so special.

THANKS HELEN and MARK !!

OK, simple card today, colour stencilled through circles and over stamped with the simple circle from the Universal set.
